An often overlooked but very important part of owning a garage door is servicing. This is for a number of key reasons:

1. Manufacturers generally require the door to be serviced annually as a condition of warranty.
2. It will prolong the life and smooth operation of your door.
3. It will highlight areas that may need urgent attention, such as worn arms or rusty cables, enabling action to be taken before the door becomes inoperable.

EXAMPLE:

As a baseline indication of cost, an annual service for an up and over door less than 10 years old would be £50.00 +VAT. This would typically include talking through any issues you may have with the door, lubricating all moving parts, adjusting spring tensions, checking fixings and that the cabling is properly balanced. If we identify any areas of concern we will bring them to your attention, advise of the severity and recommend a course of action.
