Typically it shouldn’t take more than 48 hours for us to attend to carry out a site survey to measure your garage doors and certainly no more than a week. Where you have an urgent requirement due to a problem such as a break-in we will do all we can to attend the same day, and can arrange to secure the garage door on the same visit or shortly thereafter.
Equally, if you are very organised and want to arrange an appointment a few weeks in advance that is no problem – we can send you brochures to digest in the meantime and would invite you to browse through the information in these articles to answer any queries you may have.
The lead time for a garage door can vary depending on several factors such as the type of door, its size, design, material, and the manufacturer’s production schedule.
We hold a large number of the most popular garage doors in stock, particularly up and over type doors, which tend to be used in standard sizes. This allows us to offer a lead time of around 2 to 4 weeks. Other doors made in the UK, such as the majority of our range of roller doors, are also typically available in a couple of weeks.
However, other doors such as sectional doors which are made-to-measure in other countries, or for customised garage doors, will take longer to manufacture and deliver – up to 8 weeks. If you have a very urgent need and the door is in stock then we can get doors installed within 2-3 days.
Whatever door you choose, we will do our best to get the door installed ASAP. In the event that you are not ready for the door when it arrives then we are able to hold it for a week or so without charge, and for longer periods by arrangement.

We are mindful that often when your garage door has broken that it can represent something of an emergency – the garage door is either not securing your garage properly, restricting accessibility to important items – including vehicles – or is hazardous. As such, normally we can be with you within 48 hours and we hold a huge range of the most popular spares in stock so that wherever possible you don’t have to wait for parts to arrive. If the parts do need to be ordered we have a strong supply chain and if the part is available, we can get it fast.
Where you need a same day garage door repair then wherever possible we will accommodate – if we are already busy helping others and we don’t have space in our usual schedule then we do offer an out of hours emergency call out service. Please be aware that there is an extra cost to this service in excess of the usual call out cost but does mean that we will get your door open and / or closed as soon as possible, and ideally repaired on the first visit.
